JHofferle: ## How difficult was it writing a book that was released around the same time as PS v3?
brwilkinson: # Why would/should a SysAdmin buy your book? : )
JHofferle: ## Is the target audience for your book Developers, or admins with a developer background?
FishTender27: ## I may have missed it as I was AWK. Â Is the book meant to be used and compliment specific development language or is it geared toward writing tools directly in Powershell?
Graythang: ##how much coverage does the book provide for excel use (i have to kick out metrics every month, I'd LOVE to automate it)
Graythang: ## does it cover creating pivot tables with graphs?
JHofferle: ## Have you considered writing about laying a GUI over PowerShell a la Server Manager 2012? This is something the PowerShell team has said they haven't dived into.
AaronHoover: ## for sysadmins - +/- for JSON and XML?
JHofferle: ## What best practices do you see changing for v3?
Vern_Anderson: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munge
JHofferle: XML has it's place, but JSON strikes me as the web's version of a PowerShell custom object.
