Tonight on the podcast: Matt Johnson and Ben Ten on the PoshSec project

Tonight should be a great show! Please join us at live.powerscripting.net as we talk to Matt Johnson and Ben Ten about the PoshSec project! Here is more info in their own words:

PoshSec was created by Matt Johnson and Will Steele. The project was created because they felt there was a lack of security related modules in the PowerShell ecosystem. Matt and Will worked tirelessly on the project until Will’s passing. Wanting to keep this going in memory of Will, Matt pressed on a few months later.

Matt decided to enlist a few brilliant people, including Wolfgang Goerlich, Rich Cassara and Nick Jacob, to produce the first release of PoshSec. Soon after their first release, Ben Ten contacted Matt to add the PoshSec Framework into the project. Since joining the team, along with some additional talent acquisitions, PoshSec shipped version 1.0 at BSidesChicago in 2014.
