Are you interested in sponsoring the next PowerShell + DevOps Summit?

Many of you know that I act as the CFO for PowerShell.Org - and I recently had a conversation with our CEO, Don Jones. We would like to publicly offer sponsorships of the next PowerShell + DevOps Summit. We don't usually make this public as we have plenty of wonderful sponsors, but as we are now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit - we want to make this publicly available to you or your company.  Here's the details from the desk of the CEO - If you interested, just contact me.

************

We will once again be holding PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit in Bellevue, WA, on April 9-10-11-12 of 2017. As always, we have a limited number of sponsorships available. Our event will reach 220 expert-level technologists working primarily in the Microsoft IT Ops space. They tend to be the technical leaders in their organizations, and rely on Summit as a 400+ level technical event covering both Windows PowerShell technologies and DevOps in general. They use SharePoint, System Center, Exchange, and most other major Microsoft products, and typically lead the administration of their physical and virtual server assets.

Our sponsorship deadline is October 1st, 2016 if you want to be included in the event brochure.

Some of the main sponsorship options include the following:
Lanyard sponsor (1 only)
Your logo featured on the badge lanyards of every attendee and community speaker. You’re also welcome to deliver a lunchtime session on Monday or Wednesday. Does not include free admission to the event, but you’re welcome to send a representative for your lunchtime session. $2500.
Monday “Evening Out” Sponsor (1-2)
Your logo featured on the directory/guide for our “evening on the town," and on “Host” badges worn by out event hosts throughout downtown Bellevue. Funds help our hosts buy a first round for their attendee group. You’re also welcome to deliver a lunchtime session on Monday or Wednesday. Does not include free admission to the event, but you’re welcome to send a representative for your lunchtime session. $2500.

Tuesday Evening Reception Sponsor (1 only)  SOLD
Your name and logo will be featured prominently all day on our biggest day, as we welcome the entire PowerShell team to our event for a round of “lightning demos,” a “state of the shell” address, and an evening food & beverage mix-and-mingle reception. You’re also welcome to deliver a lunchtime session on Monday or Wednesday. Does not include free admission to the event, but you’re welcome to send a representative for your lunchtime session and to the evening reception. $7500.
Lunch sponsor (available on Monday or Wednesday; 1 per day)
Your logo featured on signage during lunch. You’re also welcome to deliver a lunchtime session on Monday or Wednesday. Does not include free admission to the event, but you’re welcome to send a representative for your lunchtime session. $2500.
Note that the above list offers more lunchtime session slots that are actually available, as we offer only one per day. Session slots will therefore be first-come, first-served, and you have the option of presenting in one of our session rooms during the latter half of the lunch period (30 minutes) after attendees have eaten, or during the first half (30 minutes), when attendees are welcome to take their food into your room.
All sponsorships include recognition in our brochure (if you sign up before that goes out), and in our on-site agendas and signage. We also recognize our sponsors during keynotes and general addresses. We can also put together custom packages if you have specific needs. Please note that we do not sell, rent, or loan our attendee mailing list. However, we’re happy to - through on-site signage or brochures that you can provide - direct attendees to your own online assets where they can sign up to hear from you, if they wish.
All sponsors may also provide brochures and/or swag for us to place out for attendees on-site. We will provide shipping dates and instructions in advance.
You’re welcome to contact me at any time if you’re interested! Keep in mind that our organization, The DevOps Collective, is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so that should be a consideration for your sponsorship.
Thanks again!
Don Jones

  1. If the conference is April 2017 how can you get the materials printed when the deadline for sponsorship is October 2017?

You have perfected time travel and aren't sharing it?
There is an undocumented parameter to Get-Date that allows this?
You typed this after the pub crawl?
    Blame Don?
