We have multiple instance of .net (.exe progrm) .net core application running on windows servers. IT is essention to ensure for this app to be runnign in the desired count. in case if this get closed it has to be started again. Just wondering can this be achieved using Powershell DSC(like k8s ensures that x number of pods keep running at any point of time)??

If this is an expected state of the destination node, then you can do it. But there are no builtin DSC Resource to do this. Hence you can go for a script resource or develop your own custom DSC resource for this.
