      Hey,

i’m just starting with PowerShell and i was questioning myself wether it’s possible to log the commands run in the background when you’re doing stuff in the GUI.

For example i’m making a new SMB share and i follow the GUI wizard. I know it’s all powershell commands beiing run in the background. Is there a way to log or see the commands? i found following article https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/eopfieldnotes/2015/07/10/learn-exchange-online-powershell-with-command-logging/ that describes what i wan’t, it however is only for exchange online… I however would like to do this on a windows server.

      Thanx

I know it’s all powershell commands beiing run in the background.

That’s only valid for some tools like the Active Directory Administrative Center (ADAC) – not for all tools.
