Create New Web App and Specify Physical Directory

    Many organizations require that the IIS web folders not be on the C drive (OS).

    You can use -Path with the command New-SPWebApplication to specify the physical directory for the new Web application in the virtual directories folder. The type is a valid path, in the form C:\Inutepub\wwwroot\MyWebApplication. If no value is specified, the value %wwwroot%\wss\VirtualDirectories\ is applied.
