I see this error on bunch of Windows 2012 STD.

Here is the powershell Version running on Windows 2012 STD.

Here is the complete output of “Enable-PSRemothing”, let me know if you need any other information.

Wow … looks messy. I always use

      Enable-PSremoting -Force

      Have you tried that?

What if you reset it to default first?

      and/or reset plugins

Then try to enable psremoting. If you need to run this remotely, you could use psexec. This is how I’ve done it forever.

      Hope this helps.

Try running them in an elevated command prompt as well. Based on the errors it seems your system may be missing required files/settings. Any chance you can upgrade to WMF 5.1?

I was tried in an elevated prompt itself. upgraded to WMF 5.1 resolved. But I cannot upgrade on all the systems.

How about just running 7? It installs side by side with older versions, basically just an exe. It may just as well have the same issue. If not, would it work for your purpose? They wouldn’t be upgradingĀ šŸ™‚

Re-installation of WMF 4.0 fixed the issue.

I’ll try your recommendation on another system and let you know the outcome.
