Mass install and check with PS

    Hello community! I need some your tips in creating massively scenario. Task: make a scenario, which will check, does affected by scenario PC have the Mozilla FF, and if its not, will install it and replace some files right after installing. As far it's difficult will be, which approach will more good fit for it's, and, ofc, which cmdlets most fit for this task?

    Hi Dmitry,

    You probably want to check out below cmdlets and search for examples using your favorite engine.

    Start-Process
    – to run the Mozilla Firefox installer

    Get-ItemProperty
    – to check the Registry for an existing installation

    Test-Path
    – to test for existing files and folders

    Copy-Item
    – to replace some files

    Thanx for answer, gonna try soon. But does its possible to apply DSC for user's workstations with W7 and higher?
