    Hi,
can anyone guide me on this.

I have a sharepoint list with the following columns

    Name, Address, AccountName

The Account name is a person and group, so the user populated in the AccountName is a user in the system.

I need to able to create a powershell script which

    1. Loops through each item
    2. breaks item level permissions for that item
    3. Add the user in the Account Name Column as a contributor to that item

    Can someone advise?

    Thanks.

Do you have a starting point on this? Have you written anything so far? I don't think I could write a whole script, but if there's some piece you need help with I can try.
