The computer-specific MOF file for computer 16srv03 does not exist in the curren

    My goal is to install webserver on 16SRV03
    My pull server – > 16Srv52 (I have mof and checksum file)
    All servers are 2016 Server
    I am running the below on 16SRV02 and i get error

    "The computer-specific MOF file for computer 16srv03 does not exist in the current"

    if I remove computer name run like this

    "Set-DscLocalConfigurationManager -path C:\DSC -Verbose"

    it installs the webserver on 16SRV02 but I want to install webserver on 16SRV03. What am I doing wrong

    check your output folder, but I think that config is creating a localhost.meta.mof file. Because you're specifying a remote computer to run that config, it's looking for computername.meta.mof. You can either rename your localhost.meta.mof file, or add the nodename to your configuration
