    Hi,
I have Windows 7 SP1 (64 bit) and got installed WMF 5, hence I can see powershell version as 5 but I cannot find network adapter commands like new-netipaddress, please help.
When I do get-modules I can see only one network realted module – Manifest 1.0.0.0 NetworkSwitchManager

    See https://devopscollective.gitbooks.io/the-big-book-of-powershell-gotchas/content/manuscript/where-is-the-____-command.html.

Those commands are a feature of newer versions of Windows. They are not available on Windows 7.
