      i am assuming that you are working with file type, you can use before condition match as well.

      if([string]::IsNullOrEmpty($($Item.LinkType)))

      And Suggested by Olaf please give more information and post your sample of code so that we can able to help you 🙂

    Please carefully review the information you find in the very first post in this forum Read Me Before Posting! You'll be Glad You Did!

    You do not provide enough information to actually know what you are talking about. Please have in mind that we cannot see your screen and we do not know what you are working on. So you will have to provide at least as much code to reproduce your results. You might google your question before you ask questions in a forum.

    Did you actually read my answer? There is no way to give a meaningful answer to your question without having more context.
