    Hi Olaf,

    still no  luck,
another thing that is weird is that whenever the user account is still active it will work

do you happen to know why removing the distribution groups for disabled users is such a pain?

    Hi Olaf

We need to RDP in to each server.

    You should not do this.

    I’m open for suggestions

    Olaf,

I start my scripts on AD and do several tasks there, then I’m moving over to AzureAD but here I have to wait because of the sync that happens every 30 min
at this very moment the last sync has been done 20 min ago

this means that I have to wait 11 min before I can continue with the rest of my offboarding tasks on AzureAD
in the mean time I want to display the message that the user has to wait
    10 min
    9 min
    8 min
    ect
and exits on -1 (31 min) to be sure that I continue with my script on 30 min +1
that’s the goal of this script

    Hi,
sorry that I was not clear in my question
I use my admin account with MFA enabled (at this point no way to get around this)
since I’m automating tasks like off and onboarding it would really help if there is a way to logon without having to go through the complete identification process including MFA. especially because I need to logon to azureAD and Msonline

    thanks

    Paul

    Hi Olaf,

that’s weird since I have the additional “-” on line 20, and I use powershell ise or visual studio code

how would you solve line 21?

    Sam,

thanks for your Reaction I understand that your code runs non stop unless I hit stop code or ctrl c as you say.
I’m still learning and each time struggling with do while or do until or do and while alone

    I’ll be happy to learn
